Collection: SUEDE CORD

Suede Cord

What is suede cord?

Suede, also called suede, is a type of leather with a fuzzy, shaggy finish, commonly used for jackets, shoes, fabrics, handbags, furniture, and other items.
Chamois is made from the underside of the animal's hide, which is softer and more flexible than the outer layer, though not as durable.
It is effectively a primarily lamb leather, although goat, calf and deer are commonly used.

What is suede used for?

Because suede does not include the tough outer skin layer, it is less durable, but softer than standard leather. Its softness and malleability make it suitable for clothing and other delicate uses such as jewelry; for this reason it is a material that was originally used for women's gloves. Suede leather is also popular in upholstery, shoes, bags, and other accessories. Due to its textured nature and open pores, suede can quickly become dirty and absorb liquids, making cleaning very difficult afterward.
