Miyuki heart bracelet tutorial

In this tutorial I will teach you how to make a beautiful heart bracelet using Miyuki Delica beads and the peyote technique. I will also show you how to make a slip knot so you don't have to use a classic metal clasp, which makes this bracelet even more special.

Materials needed to make the bracelets:

Miyuki Delica 11/0 : I have used the colors « Opaque White «, « DYED Opaque Red » and « Duracoat Galvanized Gold ». For the base color (in this case white) you will need 3 grams of Delicas, for the red 2 grams and for the gold 1 gram.

Miyuki Rocalla 6/0 : I used the color « Light Gold Silver Lined «

Griffin thread 1mm : I used the color « Garnet «

Pattern to follow for making the bracelet.

This heart bracelet is a very special piece of craftsmanship. What makes this bracelet even more special is the use of the sliding knot closure, which allows it to be perfectly adapted to any wrist.

Unlike conventional metal clasps, the sliding knot is a very comfortable clasp to use, as it allows you to adjust the bracelet to your exact size, so that it is neither too tight nor too loose. The tension of both pairs of cords is created by a square knot made with the same cord at the ends of the bracelet.

The cord used for this bracelet is from the Griffin brand, and is made from a high-quality acrylic material. One advantage of this type of cord is that, since it is acrylic, it is possible to melt the ends with a lighter to ensure that it does not fray. This way, you can achieve a professional finish on your bracelet that will ensure its durability over time.

And voilà! Now you have a beautiful heart bracelet made with Miyuki Delica beads and the peyote technique. Don't forget that on my YouTube channel you will find more complete video tutorials to follow step by step through the entire process to make more handmade jewelry creations.
