Gemini Bracelet with DiamonDuo Beads
Share
In this blog post, I'm sharing an exciting step-by-step tutorial for creating a bracelet I've named Gemini . This elegant bracelet is made with DiamondDuo beads and Miyuki seed beads and is perfect for those who enjoy unique and detailed designs. The post is divided into six parts for easy understanding and execution. Let's get started!
Material used:
Diamonduo Beads : I used the color “ Chalk Lumi Green ” for the green bracelet and the color “ Chalk Lumi Purple ” for the purple bracelet.
Miyuki 11/0 seed beads : I used the color “ Opaque Luster Golden Olive ” for the green bracelet and the color “ Duracoat Op. Rainbow Glaz. Peacock ” for the purple bracelet.
Miyuki 15/0 seed beads : I used the color “ Opaque Limeston ” for the green bracelet and the color “ Duracoat Opaque Light Watermelon ” for the purple bracelet.
Closure with chain and carabiner

To work comfortably and accurately, we'll use Nymo thread and two needles. This method will allow us to pass the thread more smoothly through the beads and ensure a professional finish.
We'll begin our project by securing the lobster clasp. To protect the thread from constant friction against the lobster clasp, we'll attach a thread guard to keep it secure and firm. This is a crucial step to ensure the durability of our bracelet.

Now it's time to start stringing the beads. We'll alternate the DiamondDuo beads with the Miyuki seed beads following this pattern: one 15/0 seed bead, one 11/0 seed bead, and another 15/0 seed bead. This design is not only visually appealing, but also ensures the beads stay in place.

We'll continue stringing the beads alternately until we reach the desired length for the bracelet. The length will depend on the wearer's wrist size, so be sure to measure accurately for a perfect fit. Since we use a lobster clasp and chain, the bracelet will give us quite a range of measurements.

Once we've reached the desired length, it's time to secure the other end of the clasp. We'll add another loop with a ring to the opposite side to complete the bracelet's closure. This step is essential to ensure the bracelet can be easily put on and taken off.

To give our Gemini bracelet a perfect finish, we'll stitch it back again using three 15/0 seed beads. We'll thread the thread between the first two seed beads that previously separated the DiamondDuo beads to form a delicate flower. This final detail will add a special and elegant touch to your bracelet.
Once we have completed the entire bracelet decoration, we can join the ends of the threads to tie some knots, hide the ends, and cut off the excess thread.

Finish your bracelet by carefully following each of these steps, and don't forget to watch the video tutorial we've prepared for you. In the video, you'll find a visual guide that will help you complete your project successfully.
I hope you enjoy creating the Gemini bracelet as much as I enjoyed designing it! Don't forget to share your results and any questions you have in the comments. Let's get to work and create beautiful jewelry!
