Today we are going to talk to you about a new product that we have included in our catalogue: FIMO polymer clay.
It is a paste that can be modeled creating an infinite number of shapes.
It is ideal for making jewelry, decorative objects, figures, etc.
You can mix the colors and once you have the desired shape, you can bake it in the oven to harden it.
Baking time: 30′ at approximately 100-110ºC.
Not suitable for children under 8 years. For use under adult supervision only. Read instructions before use, follow them and keep for reference.
- SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS: Avoid direct contact of the material with the mouth and eyes. Choking hazard. Do not exceed the hardening temperature of 130ºC/265ºF or harmful gases may be produced. Do not exceed the cooking time of 30 min. Cooking is not part of the game, so it should be carried out by an adult responsible for supervising children. Use a domestic oven thermometer, for example a bimetallic type, to measure the temperature. Do not use a glass thermometer. Do not heat the product in the oven together with food. Do not use a microwave oven. Avoid contact of the clay with the flame and the use of a hot knife or wire. Do not expose the hardened material to temperatures above 130ºC/265ºF. Keep out of the reach of small children. Children under 8 years of age and animals should be kept away from the work area. Wash your hands after using the product. Clean the oven thoroughly when finished. Do not use pyrolytic cleaning. Clean all equipment after use. Do not use products that are not supplied with the kit or that are not mentioned in the instructions for use as recommended. Do not eat, drink or smoke in the workplace.
- GENERAL FIRST AID INFORMATION: In case of accidental overheating and inhalation of toxic gases: Take the person outside and consult a doctor immediately. In case of any injury, always seek medical attention, taking the product and its corresponding container with you.
- INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE: Modelling and hardening: Do not use unhardened FIMO in contact with polystyrene, PVC or expanded polystyrene. Knead and model the FIMO. For finishing, you can use, for example, wooden skewers. For larger objects, an aluminium foil core can also be used to save material. Line the oven shelf with baking paper or aluminium foil and preheat the oven to 110°C/230°F. Harden the modelled object in the oven for 30 min. Monitor the temperature during the solidification process. Continuing processing: The FIMO reaches its final degree of hardness after it has cooled. Do not continue processing (painting, lacquering, drilling, polishing, etc.) until the object has cooled. To repair broken parts or to glue metal parts, you can use a two-component adhesive. The objects made must not come into direct contact with food, open flames (candles, ashtrays, etc.) or heat sources (lamps, etc.) . Storage: Store the paste in a cool, dry place, wrapped in aluminium foil or inside a polyethylene bag. Disposal: The material can be disposed of with ordinary rubbish (conventional waste container).
